Dr. Tian is a professor and doctoral supervisor at the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS). He is currently a visiting scholar at the Center for Theoretical Physics, Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He has a B.S. degree in Physics, Zhejiang University, and a Ph.D. degree in Physics, Peking University. Before his tenure, he worked as a postdoctoral researcher in Institute of Theoretical Physics, Chinese Academy of Science.
